Licensure:
I am licensed as a Psychologist in California: Psy 15405
Education:
I received my BA from the University of California Berkeley in 1986 and earned my doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1993.
Work Experience and Clinical Training:
I have been practicing as a clinical Psychologist for the past 27 years working with children, adolescents, adults and couples in San Francisco and Marin counties. I currently counsel individual adults only. My training and practice reflect psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, positive psychology, mindfulness based, systems theory, neuropsychological, spiritual, and chemical dependency therapies and modalities.
In addition to my practice as a clinical psychologist I have taught courses to children and adults on peace and conflict practices, psychological cultural competency, mindfulness based business practices, chemical dependency, and spiritually guided work-life balance. I have also acted as an executive and corporate trainer/coach to individuals and small businesses seeking to enhance their business practices and bottom lines.

With great enthusiasm, I have woven my passion for serving together into philanthropic work over the past 25 years both locally and abroad. In doing so I’ve held leadership positions at The Marin Waldorf School as the major fundraiser co-chair, in my community as the President of the Marin Sunrise Rotary club, and have created and chaired two Peace conferences at Unity in Marin. Other than my family and psychotherapy practice, serving in this fashion has undoubtedly been the most meaningful work I’ve had the pleasure to participate in.
